Welcome to Bough Learning & Innovation! I'm Josh, Founder of Bough L&I, and I am passionate about transforming how we learn and grow. With over a decade of experience from military leadership to corporate training, my journey has been diverse and unconventional.

My career began as a Performing Artist and matured with a Graduate Diploma in Primary Education, leading to early leadership roles in schools. This ignited my passion for human-centred and holistic learning designs. A significant chapter of my career was in the Navy as a senior instructor and simulation specialist, where I developed innovative and adaptable training programs. My time as a simulation instructor, along with professional learning at Kaos Pilot, provided me with unique insights into experiential learning.

Bough Learning & Innovation was founded to bring these insights to the government and industry sectors, fostering growth, collaboration, and creativity. Based in Ngunnawal Country, ACT Australia, our mission is to create engaging, impactful learning experiences.

When I'm not designing training programs, you might find me exploring educational trends, collaborating with industry experts, or enjoying Canberra’s vibrant culture with my family.
